August/Sept. 2009

August the 15th brought us a new little
Grand daughter ~ Valorie Aren, Tim and Becca's new baby.




Erik and Amelia came to visit with Aurora and we had fun at
the beach and seeing all the waterfalls near Portland before
they left for home.

We have been busy to say the least ~ I'll try to catch you up!
Jasmine had her 13th Birthday on May 1st and celebrated with friends.




In May I went to the Armacost Reunion for Gram's(our Mom's)95th Birthday celebration and had fun with my sisters and family.

Later in May Aaron Graduated from college and we now have an eye doctor in the family.

June brought Aaron and Michelle and family down for a visit and Heather and Kristofor so we had to go to the beach, crabbing and fishing and found more agates. Kit found a purple one, the first we have ever seen.





The 4th of July we went to Ryan's to celebrate with Ryan, Cheryl and family and Tim, Becca and Melanie.






Then Ryan's Birthday at his house.


Our Big Handcart Trek with all the handcarts and pioneer gear was a success.

Wishing all our Children, Families & Friends a Happy Easter

We hope that all of you have a Happy Easter. We are so grateful for this special season that reminds us of the sacrifice Our Savior Jesus Christ made for each one of us. We look forward to spending time with those of our family that live close to us.
We have been busy baking for our gathering and opportunity to celebrate together. Here
are some of our cookies we decorated for Family Home Evening. We plan to go to Ryan and Cheryl's to dye eggs tonight, so Jasmine and Seth are excited. We love you all!

Everyone enjoyed Seth's Gluten Free Birthday Cake at Aaron and Michelle's house in AZ.
He got to ride the go-carts with family there and go on a roller coaster on his birthday as requested at Belmont Park in San Diego, CA.

More About OUR TRIP

We had a great time with all the Lambsons in AZ and my family in CA. We visited with Grandmother, Gail's brothers and family and of course with our children. Kristofor treated us to a movie since he works at a theater and Seth enjoyed Castles and Coasters bumper cars, but no roller coaster rides. So it was off to Belmont Park to make Seth's birthday wish come true so he could say he rode a roller coaster.
Gram was doing good. Patty took us to Balboa Park for a picnic. Danny cooked gourmet dinners and entertained us with movies. My camera won't download any pictures to my computer tonight so I'll try again tomorrow.

After our return I went up to help Heather since she had surprise surgery.
It was fun to be a roommate with Mikayla.
